Abel was one of the two brothers in charge of Rylium. He was a ruthless "fixer" sent in to contain the "problem" with emBeds at Merced Magnet School. He killed Emma and used illegal bypass codes on William, all in service to his main prey, Aisha.
He had a fractious relationship with his brother Noah — the more suave, more public face of the company.
After her final capture by Rylium, Aisha implied that he had transitioned from being a female, and that he "looked good" now that he was whom he truly was meant to be. Aisha drew comparisons between her plight and Abel's, something that led him to show her unexpected compassion.
